Overview

Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA’s) are contained in most cosmetic and skincare products, even in eye make-up and eye make-up removers. Along with the overuse of exfoliants and other products around the eyes, AHAs can dehydrate the skin and compromise its resiliency. Allergies can worsen the problem because rubbing the eyes dehydrates and abrades this sensitive skin.

Products for treating the skin around the eyes must be especially gentle. This skin is usually about two-thirds finer, thinner, and more delicate than the skin on other parts of the body, including other areas of the face. For this reason, use of gentle yet supportive healing and hydrating products is essential to successful eye area skin therapy. Products should also be fragrance and colour free.

DermaQuest™ Skin Therapy products treat the delicate skin around the eye gently, while promoting rejuvenation, hydration, and healing.
