DermaQuest™ customers often ask how much product they should use. The answer is that
it depends on the health of the skin.
-
Thin serums require roughly a half a penny-sized puddle on the finger tips to cover
the entire face and neck of healthy skin.
-
The more viscous serums are applied by dispensing a spring pea-sized bead to the
fingertip. Which amount to use is defined by the skin’s needs; extremely dry skin
requires more Daily Antioxidant Serum than moist, healthy skin. The skin will tell
you.
-
The creams usually require an pea-sized bead to be effective, but it depends on
the needs of the skin. A larger bead will be required initially.
-
An SPF will require a lima bean-sized amount to protect the face and neck effectively,
and it should be fully manipulated for penetration.
-
Eye product should be applied as half of a pea only to the orbital bone area above
the eye and below. The product should NOT be applied to the eye lid and to the side/
corner area of the eye. Applying the product to these areas tempts allergies and
is unnecessary. Blinking brings the ingredients to the needed treatment areas.
